Curtis Morcom

Curtis Morcom joined UBC in 2010, serving as Director, Finance Strategies from April 2014 and previously holding the position of Director, Academic Finance and Strategy.  He  served as Interim AVP Finance & Operations for the Okanagan campus in 2015.

A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, Curtis has more than 16 years of senior management experience across a range of industries, including health, education, professional services, leasing, and land development.  At the age of 21 Curtis was a business owner, and the youngest person to be awarded a franchise agreement of a national retailer. 

Curtis has completed the Chartered Director (C.Dir) designation delivered in partnership between the Conference Board of Canada and McMaster University.

He also serves as Treasurer to the Central Okanagan Youth Soccer Association and the Kelowna United Football Club, which represents over 5,000 youth soccer players in the Okanagan.
