The UBC Board of Governors has appointed Judy Rogers to be the university’s 20th Chancellor, following her nomination by the alumni UBC Board of Directors, effective September 1, 2024.

Mr. William Sundhu has been appointed as the Interim Chair of the UBC Board of Governors, effective January 1, 2024.

Appointment of the 17th President and Vice-Chancellor of UBC
Dr. Benoit-Antoine Bacon has been appointed as UBC's 17th President and Vice-Chancellor, effective November 1, 2023.
