Dr. Sandy Hilton is Dean pro tem and Associate Professor of Teaching at the University of British Columbia’s Faculty of Management.
Dr. Hilton joined the Faculty of Management in 2007 as one of seven inaugural faculty members before departing in 2013 to lead the national development of the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) professional education programs as Vice-President Pre-certification Education. Dr. Hilton was recruited back to the Faculty of Management to serve as lead for the undergraduate program in 2019.
In addition to his service on the Board, Dr. Hilton is actively involved in UBC governance including serving on the Okanagan Senate and on multiple Senate sub-committees.
Dr. Hilton holds a Doctorate in Accounting from the University of Waterloo and subsequently completed a Master of Arts in Education from UBC.
